Marking 50 year of OECD Guidelines and 25 years of NCPs
8 December 2026
Please register for this event, using the registration-form on the NCP website: NCP Annual Event - 8 December 2026
This annual NCP event marks 50 years of the OECD Guidelines and 25 years of NCPs, with the central question of how access to remedy (step 6 of the OECD due diligence process) can be better realised in practice. The meeting aims to bring together companies, trade unions, NGOs, complaint and remedy mechanisms, academia, and policy makers to:
- understand what effective material and non-material remedy under the OECD Guidelines means;
- draw lessons from 25 years of NCP practice and other complaint mechanisms;
- provide companies with concrete tools for setting up and improving complaint and remedy mechanisms;
- provide insight into the expectations and obstacles that (potential) complainants, experience when filing complaints.
Location: The Hague, Rijnstraat 8, Grote Zaal and Lounge
Chair: Roel Nieuwenkamp (former Chair OECD WPRBC, currently Dutch Ambassador to Spain)
